Here at Johnson & Daltrey Funeral service, we can guide you through the funeral arrangements at any one of our branches, in our private and homely arrangement rooms. Every branch contains a full range of literature and products on display, to help you decide on the best tribute for your loved ones. Alternatively, our funeral directors are always more than happy to visit you in the familiar surroundings of your own home to make arrangements.
We make every effort we can to meet the personal requirements of every one of our clients, and will always aim to make appointments which are convenient to you.
Floral Tributes
Floral tributes are the perfect way to personalise a funeral to reflect your loved one’s personality. Our very talented florist can produce beautiful sprays to adorn the coffin top or perhaps your prefer something more subtle in the style of a sheaf or posy. If you would like something totally unique we can produce a bespoke tribute to really reflect your loved ones hobbies, likes and personality!
Order of Service
Order of Service booklets are a lovely keepsake for family and friends. All order of service’s are designed in house allowing us the flexibility to make them exactly to your acquired taste. We can add photographs, change fonts and even do a watermarked design.
We work alongside you and your chosen officiant to design the service booklet so that all the content including hymns and prayers are correct.
We then use a carefully chosen trusted printer to print the booklets ensuring that they are printed on the highest quality of card and presented specifically to your tastes.
Newspaper Notices
We can assist you with writing a notice and can place it in both local and national newspapers on your behalf. Most newspapers also publish their notices online.
Vehicles
As standard we provide a black funeral fleet consisting of a purpose built motorised hearse and any number of limousines that you may require. we believe that everyone should be given a variety of choice in how they would like to take their final journey, so we offer a range of bespoke funeral transport to our clients, allowing family members to choose a fitting tribute to their loved ones.
Coffins, Caskets, Jewellery & Urns
We provide a huge range of coffins from veneer to solid wood in both oak and mahogany. We also have a beautiful willow eco range available. Picture coffins are becoming increasingly popular as is our glitter range. All coffins can have matching ashes caskets, or we have a variety of scatter tubes and urns available. If you would like to have some of your loved one’s ashes placed in to jewellery ask us for more information.
Costs
Whilst arranging the funeral, we will advise you on the various costs and charges that will be incurred. You will receive a full written quotation from us for your approval, to ensure you are completely happy with the services we are offering, before you commit to using them. The funeral account is separated into two parts, disbursement fees, and our charges.
Disbursement fees are third party costs involved surrounding the funeral, which we pay on your behalf. These can include, but are not exclusive to; doctors fees, crematorium fees, minister charges, and parochial fees, all where appropriate. Your quotation will detail the cost of these fees, however, as we have no control over them, they can sometimes be subject to slight variations.
